This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop grading rubrics for legal documents that are comprehensible and applicable by individuals without legal training.
• Evaluate processed legal documents in accordance with established quality control rubrics.
• Verify that sensitive and identifying information has been appropriately managed.
• Identify and classify defects in the documentation.
• Raise ambiguous cases for further review and resolution.
• Engage with a variety of legal documents, including commercial contracts, employment and HR records, intellectual property and technology agreements, regulatory submissions, corporate documentation, insurance contracts, financing and debt instruments, litigation materials, real estate documents, and tax records.
• Assist in initiatives aimed at training and improving AI systems.
• Must be a qualified lawyer based in the US.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience is required.
• Experience ideally as an in-house counsel or generalist in commercial law.
• Must be comfortable working with a variety of commercial legal document types.
• Previous experience in managed document review, e-discovery, contract management, or data privacy is highly advantageous.
• Proven accuracy and consistency in high-volume review tasks.
• Ability to adhere closely to written protocols and suggest improvements.
