Legal Quality Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Legal Quality Analyst is tasked with overseeing various elements of the medical file review process.

• They will evaluate completed referrals to ensure that client inquiries have been adequately addressed and will review the finalized reports for accuracy.

• Ensuring compliance with client and departmental standards is essential.

• Quality Audits: Reviews documents accompanying medical records to verify that the reports are complete and that all client questions have been answered.

• Engages with the reviewer for any additional questions or clarifications required.

• Follows up with clients if there are any further inquiries.

• Regularly updates clients on the progress of referrals.

• Ensures that reports are free from grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.

• Confirms that each referral complies with the QA checklist before completion.

• Prepares reports for approval.

• Communication: Maintains clear and concise communication between the customer, reviewer, and Operations team.

• Must be comfortable speaking with physicians and clients regarding the details of their peer reviews.

• Other duties and special projects may be assigned based on business requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• Must be auto-oriented.

• Experience as a paralegal is required.

• Familiarity with 18.001 counter affidavit processes is necessary.

• Experience with Tier 1 carriers is a plus.

• A passion for reading and proofreading is essential.

• Possesses excellent legal acumen.

• Comfortable with repetitive legal tasks that require high standards of quality assurance.

• Exhibits outstanding communication skills with a solid understanding of the company's business lines.

• Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in computer skills and typing is crucial.

• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and traveling as required by the job duties listed above. This includes long periods of sitting and using a computer.

• Must supply and maintain their own internet services.

• It is mandatory to maintain an uninterrupted internet connection for all work-from-home positions.
