This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support high-impact campaigns, litigation efforts, and policy initiatives.
• Conduct research and analysis of federal, state, and local legislation.
• Prepare legal memoranda.
• Review undercover video footage.
• Implement campaigns.
• Provide assistance with administrative and corporate governance tasks related to nonprofit management and legal compliance.
• Participate in virtual meetings at least twice a week with an attorney supervisor.
• Attend legal-team meetings and other internal events hosted by Mercy For Animals.
• Engage in weekly virtual meetings with fellow Raskin legal interns.
• Join educational sessions alongside investigations, campaigns, policy, and organizing teams.
• Must be a current law student.
• Licensed attorneys in at least one U.S. state are welcome to apply.
• A minimum commitment of eight weeks is required.
• Availability to work up to 29 hours per week for a duration of eight to 12 weeks.
• Paid legal internship opportunity.
• Compensation of $20/hour for interns without funding from their law schools.
