Legal Counsel Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Participate in in-depth legal discussions with AI models

• Assess model outputs for factual correctness and analytical depth

• Identify consistent failure points and areas for performance improvement

• Test advanced AI models using realistic legal scenarios

• Evaluate statutory interpretation, judicial reasoning, precedent analysis, legal citation formats, case brief preparation, and standards of evidence

• Work collaboratively with the team to enhance prompts and refine evaluation criteria

⛳️ Requirements

• A Juris Doctor (JD) is mandatory

• An active law license is necessary

• Substantial litigation experience is expected, including trial work, appellate advocacy, or involvement in other contested proceedings

• Capability to express legal reasoning clearly and accurately

• A publication record, previous clerkships, teaching experience, or specialization in certain subjects are preferred
