Legal Counsel – Employment Law

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Providing legal advice to the business, the Board of Directors, and professionals in Human Resources, Recruitment, and Case Management.

• Offering legal counsel and practical support within the broad spectrum of labor law.

• Monitoring developments in legislation and jurisprudence and translating them into policy.

• Collaborating with Legal Counsels and colleagues from various disciplines.

• Drafting and maintaining model contracts, guidelines, and policies.

• Enhancing knowledge transfer and legal awareness through training sessions and presentations.

• Maintaining contact with internal stakeholders and occasionally collaborating with external parties, such as lawyers.

• Contributing to strengthening the Deloitte brand from a legal perspective.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed study (Master's or Bachelor's) in Dutch law, preferably in civil and/or corporate law.

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a lawyer or corporate lawyer/legal counsel in labor law.

• Strong knowledge of labor law.

• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

• Proactive, analytically strong, inquisitive, and creative.

• Capable of understanding complex legal issues and formulating practical solutions.

• Able to make independent judgments and provide persuasive advice.

• Good balance between policy and pragmatism.

• Team player in a multidisciplinary environment.
