Legal & Compliance Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in gathering and finalizing B2B KYC processes and documentation.

• Draft, review, and prepare legal and corporate documents, including internal policies and procedures.

• Oversee licensing obligations across group entities, which includes renewal deadlines, filing requirements, license conditions, and regulatory reporting.

• Support Responsible Gambling initiatives by monitoring end-user requests and aiding with reporting obligations.

• Manage internal committees and subcommittees by preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and following up on action items.

• Assist in internal and external compliance audits, including preparation of documentation and coordinating follow-up actions.

• Maintain and update the contract management system.

• Assist with compliance aspects related to iGaming, gaming licenses, Responsible Gambling, and Anti-Money Laundering.

• Conduct legal and compliance research on regulatory and industry advancements.

• Identify potential legal and compliance risks and contribute to strategies for their mitigation.

• Support the Head of Legal in project tracking, deadlines, and milestone updates.

• Provide general legal and compliance assistance throughout the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably within a B2C or B2B company or a law firm with a focus on the iGaming sector.

• Comprehensive understanding of iGaming regulations and licensing requirements, including license renewals, regulatory reporting, and ongoing obligations.

• Strong background and proven capability in drafting and reviewing policies and procedures.

• Solid understanding of Responsible Gambling, Anti-Money Laundering, and regulatory compliance principles.

• Exceptional attention to detail along with robust organizational skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects in a dynamic environment.

• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

• Capability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with internal stakeholders.

• High level of discretion and professionalism when managing confidential legal and corporate information.

• Experience interacting directly with iGaming regulators or licensing authorities.

• Familiarity with various international gaming licenses and regulatory frameworks.

• Knowledge of contract management systems and compliance tools.

• Legal qualification or degree in Law, Compliance, or a related discipline.

• Experience in a fast-paced, international, remote-first setting.
