📋 Description

• Deliver daily legal assistance

• Draft and evaluate contracts and customer agreements

• Provide counsel to leadership on legal and regulatory issues

• Safeguard company interests, minimize payment disputes, and assist in debt and property recovery

• Facilitate new product introductions and market expansions while ensuring adherence to local regulations

• Oversee debt recovery initiatives, including demand letters, payment negotiations, and legal actions against delinquent customers

• Manage litigation and commercial disputes

• Prepare legal documents and represent the company where permitted, or coordinate with external legal counsel

• Pursue enforcement of judgments and settlements to reclaim overdue debts and company assets

• Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory agencies regarding suspected fraud, theft, or unreturned property

• Collaborate with finance and operations to prioritize legal matters, organize evidence, and monitor legal expenses and recovery outcomes

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a senior legal position within a startup or rapidly growing company, with robust project management capabilities

• Strong aptitude for independently assessing legal issues, conducting comprehensive research on relevant laws, and providing clear, actionable advice — even in less familiar legal domains

• A proactive and inventive approach — willing to make calls, seek out answers, advocate for clarity, or escalate issues as necessary

• Exceptional skills in locating, analyzing, and interpreting legal and regulatory information through public databases and direct engagement with regulatory agencies
