This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.
• Compose recommendation letters and assist with the preparation of submission materials.
• Evaluate client inquiries and determine the appropriate next steps.
• Aid in assembling case packages and preparing them for filing.
• Manage both inbound and outbound communications, including taking messages.
• Uphold professionalism and client service in all interactions.
• Oversee immigration case files and maintain accurate, organized client records.
• Draft immigration forms and prepare supporting legal documentation.
• Schedule consultations and coordinate calendars.
• Handle email communications and ensure prompt follow-up with clients.
• Conduct legal research as directed to assist in case preparation.
• Support a dynamic legal team in managing immigration case workflows.
• Contribute to precise and efficient case preparation.
• Assist in providing a seamless client experience throughout the process.
• A Bachelor of Law or a related academic background is preferred, with no active attorney licensing requirement.
• Prior experience in immigration law, legal support, or case management is preferred.
• Strong written English communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Portuguese is a significant advantage.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Exceptional written communication and attention to detail in drafting legal and immigration documents.
• A client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to tasks and challenges.
• A high level of accountability, reliability, and commitment to team success.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
• Adaptability to work in a structured yet fast-paced legal environment.
• Capability to follow instructions and assist in legal research as needed.
• Availability to work within Pacific Time business hours.
• Availability aligned with operations from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Gmail and Google Calendar.
• Familiarity with internal communication platforms such as Google Chat and MyCase Chat.
• Experience with the VoIP system Elevate.
• Knowledge of CRM systems utilized for case and client management.
