Leadership Wage Instructor – COAST/TRAIN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Support the training of specialized skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within TEEX Workforce Development Programs.

• Conduct instruction in both online and classroom settings.

• Deliver field-based skills training and/or technical assistance in a specific specialty area.

• Apply adult learning theories and diverse learning styles to enhance learner success and course effectiveness.

• Utilize various media to convey course material effectively.

• Assist in the creation or updating of curriculum content as necessary.

• Collaborate with the Leadership team and ITSI customers to develop and deliver TEEX Leadership courses.

• Report directly to the Training Manager for ITSI Special Projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least four years of experience in a significant leadership role, including relevant experience in instructing leadership training.

• Minimum of one year in adult education and/or training.

• Must reside in Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Cameron, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, or Willacy County.

• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.

• Alternatively, two years of related experience with an Associate's Degree in a relevant field, or no prior experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.

• Applicants must undergo a criminal history investigation.
