This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +8 more states.
• Lead the PBST US Army sales team while collaborating with technical resources and inside sales personnel.
• Achieve license, support, and service revenue targets in a timely manner.
• Strategically map territories, plan account approaches, and manage sales opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises.
• Collaborate with inside sales and partners to enhance operational efficiency.
• Utilize sales engineering, in-house services, and partner service resources effectively.
• Engage directly in account planning, strategic development, and sales calls.
• Recruit a team that aligns with the company's growth objectives.
• Implement sales methodologies and processes proficiently.
• Coordinate with international and domestic colleagues to increase deal size and customer value.
• Ensure a timely two-way flow of information and efficient deployment of resources.
• Provide prompt feedback to product management, marketing, and other corporate departments.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a first-line manager for software sales teams.
• At least 5 years of direct quota-carrying experience in software or SaaS enterprise sales, specifically targeting large enterprises or Public Sector accounts.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience in selling software, cybersecurity, observability, data analytics, or cloud solutions to the US Federal Government / Department of Defense.
• Experience overseeing cross-functional field execution involving Account Executives, Systems Engineers, and channel partner ecosystems.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 40–50% within the assigned territory.
• Active US Government Security Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI), or eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain such clearance.
• Preferably 2+ years of second-line sales management experience.
• Preference for candidates with an active Top Secret / TS/SCI clearance with a current background investigation.
• Established executive relationships with US Army / DoD procurement commands and major defense systems integrators are preferred.
• Direct domain and technical sales leadership experience in observability, SIEM, SecOps, or log analytics technologies is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise CRM and sales analytics platforms like Salesforce or Clari is preferred.
