Lead, Trust and Safety Policy – Ads Policy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation, drafting, and upkeep of strategic advertising policies for Reddit's advertising products as the EMEA subject matter expert.

• Prepare risk assessments and strategic policy suggestions for senior cross-functional leaders and executive stakeholders.

• Clearly and confidently present the Ads Policy perspective.

• Serve as a role model for Reddit’s Company Values and offer guidance as a senior peer leader.

• Make decisions on highly complex, ambiguous ads policy escalations.

• Provide clear, risk-balanced rulings on significant issues.

• Research and devise large-scale policies that affect Reddit's global advertising platform.

• Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Operations, Product, Trust & Safety Policy, and other departments.

• Report directly to the Head of Ads Policy.

• Engage in high-impact advertising policy projects that support Reddit's global business expansion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in compliance, standards, or policy development and implementation, with considerable experience in technology, digital platforms, advertising, Trust and Safety, or a related policy area.

• A proven history of taking full, reliable ownership of complex policy projects, along with independently researching, drafting, implementing, and maintaining policies in fast-paced environments.

• Extensive subject matter expertise in international advertising or content policy.

• Demonstrated experience working with global teams and advising stakeholders across various jurisdictions.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to simplify complex policy and regulatory issues into understandable business terms.

• Exceptional skill in synthesizing intricate, ambiguous problems into structured decision documents that clearly outline risks, trade-offs, and recommended solutions.

• Direct experience with advertising policies within a major tech platform (preferred).

• Knowledge of utilizing AI tools to enhance workflows and scale processes (preferred).
