Lead Travel Consultant, French Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Provide travel advice and arrangements for corporate clients, encompassing both individual and group bookings.

• Organize and secure domestic and international business travel, including air, road, rail, and lodging options of various complexities.

• Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) such as Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and/or Galileo; training may be available.

• Interact with customers via telephone, messaging/chat, email, and/or back-office systems.

• Offer proactive travel guidance and promote additional services while adhering to clients’ corporate travel policies.

• Operate both independently and collaboratively in order to achieve business and account-specific objectives, including customer satisfaction, call adherence, and service metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in the travel sector, ideally in business travel.

• Familiarity with fare structures and ticketing regulations for cars, flights, and accommodations.

• Proficiency in French, both written and spoken, is essential.

• Expertise in native GDS systems: Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and/or Galileo.

• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Integrity and the capability to protect personal traveler information.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry, including business and leisure travel, or backgrounds in airline reservations.

• Ability to resolve customer issues swiftly and autonomously.

• Team-oriented mindset and receptiveness to feedback.

• Willingness to work afternoon shifts (12-8pm) and weekends.

• Capability to operate in a 24/7 Traveler Care environment.
