Lead Steam Turbines Technical Field Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee, coordinate, and execute the on-site installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of Steam Turbine systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.

• Offer technical support to customers and facilitate successful aftermarket upgrades.

• Supervise critical tasks performed by third-party contractors.

• Conduct installation walk-downs to ensure compliance by contractors.

• Uphold GE safety standards and enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional work quality and technical approvals.

• Maintain documentation including technical reports, job status updates, expense reports, and material logistics.

• Mentor and coach team members to promote growth.

• Fulfill project requirements through frequent travel, overtime, and work during weekends and holidays as needed.

• Promote core values and vision through proactive management of tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical/University degree or equivalent experience, OR a High School Diploma / GED paired with experience in a Field Services role or similar qualifications.

• Background in field services or maintenance of power generation equipment.

• SEP certification for group 2 - operations.

• Comprehensive understanding of Steam Turbine Operations and their controlling parameters.

• Robust technical skills in steam turbines and auxiliary service operations such as alignment, balancing, and assessment.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Willingness and ability to travel within Poland and internationally (80%+).
