Lead Steam Turbines Technical Field Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee, coordinate, and execute on-site installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of Steam Turbine systems.

• Identify and rectify equipment issues.

• Offer technical support to customers and facilitate successful aftermarket enhancements.

• Supervise critical tasks performed by third-party contractors.

• Conduct installation walk-downs to ensure compliance by contractors.

• Uphold GE safety protocols and enhance customer satisfaction through superior work quality and technical approvals.

• Produce timely technical reports, job status updates, expense reports, and documentation for material logistics.

• Mentor and coach team members in product knowledge and field engineering expertise.

• Meet project demands through extensive travel, overtime, and work during weekends and holidays.

• Promote core values and vision through proactive management of tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Technical/University degree or relevant experience or a High School Diploma/GED with experience in a Field Services role or equivalent qualifications.

• Background in field services or maintenance of power generation equipment.

• SEP certificate for group 2 - operations.

• Comprehensive understanding of Steam Turbine Operation and control parameters.

• Strong technical knowledge in steam turbine and auxiliary services operations, including alignment, balancing, and assessment.

• Valid driver's license.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Poland and internationally (80%+).

• Availability for extensive travel, overtime, and work during weekends and holidays as needed.
