This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +9 more states.
• Oversee a team of Partner Solutions Engineers acting as the main technical liaison between Splunk/Cisco and its partners.
• Enhance the technical practices of partners and facilitate their advancement through the Cisco Partner 360 program.
• Develop a scalable Partner Solutions Engineering function utilizing enablement, reference architectures, and collaborative solution development.
• Advocate for Cisco’s Data Fabric strategy through Data Intelligence and AI initiatives.
• Evaluate partner capabilities and identify gaps, designing multi-quarter enablement roadmaps accordingly.
• Conduct technical training sessions, workshops, and hands-on labs.
• Create technical playbooks, reference architectures, and demonstration assets focused on Security, Observability, Cloud, Network, and AI priorities.
• Collaborate with partner engineering and product teams to co-create joint solutions.
• Act as the primary technical contact for strategic partners, addressing complex integration challenges.
• Represent partner needs to internal Product and Engineering teams.
• Offer technical insights for RFPs and assist with partner-led demonstrations and proof of concepts (POCs).
• Document engagements, monitor performance metrics, and standardize enablement methodologies.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of Partner Solutions Engineers.
• Promote technical excellence, customer-centric empathy, and partner-centric growth.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of proven experience; OR Master’s degree with 5 years of experience.
• 5+ years of extensive technical knowledge in Security, Observability, Event, or Network Management.
• 3+ years of experience in managing personnel, specifically leading technical pre-sales or partner-facing engineering teams.
• Proven history of building high-performing teams and nurturing talent across various career stages.
• Strong operational insight, including partner capacity planning, enablement roadmaps, and assessing business impact.
• Familiarity with Cisco Partner technical enablement and partner program requirements.
• Experience in conveying the value of Cisco Data Fabric, AI-driven observability, and Data Intelligence to partner executives.
• Background in driving technical certification programs and achieving badge attainment within a channel or partner organization.
• Experience leading Partner Solutions Engineering teams within the software or technology sector.
• Knowledge of data platforms, SIEM, observability, security operations, or related technologies.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for C-level executives and technical practitioners alike.
• Proven experience in leading organizational change and facilitating the adoption of new strategies, processes, and technologies.
