This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a remote Solutions Engineering team with diverse experience levels.
• Foster a culture centered on technical excellence, customer orientation, accountability, inclusivity, and ongoing learning.
• Align the priorities, resources, and execution of Solutions Engineering with business strategy and sales objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to enhance pipeline generation, opportunity execution, forecast precision, and business performance.
• Represent the Solutions Engineering organization during business reviews, forecast discussions, and leadership forums.
• Establish regular operational rhythms for team meetings, one-on-ones, performance management, talent reviews, and business planning.
• Utilize data and business metrics to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks to enhance team effectiveness and customer outcomes.
• Develop scalable programs and processes to boost productivity, capabilities, and organizational consistency.
• Advocate for the adoption of AI and emerging technologies.
• Cultivate talent through coaching, career planning, succession planning, and targeted development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Renewals, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Support, and other departments to enhance customer experience and expedite business outcomes.
• Navigate change by providing clarity, fostering alignment, and converting evolving priorities into actionable steps.
• Stay abreast of Splunk and Cisco technologies, industry trends, and customer requirements.
• Support the Commercial/Growth business across the Americas.
• Over 5 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a similar presales technical role.
• At least 3 years of experience managing teams, specifically leading Solutions Engineers or technical presales teams.
• An AI-first mindset and a passion for leveraging AI to enhance productivity, decision-making, and organizational scalability.
• A proven history of building high-performing teams and nurturing talent across various career stages.
• Strong business and operational insight, including forecasting, pipeline management, execution, and performance oversight.
• Capability to forge trusted partnerships with Sales and cross-functional leaders.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong executive presence.
• Proficiency in converting complex technical and business concepts into clear, actionable insights.
• A growth mindset with the ability to lead through change and continuously enhance team operations.
• Experience in leading Solutions Engineering teams within the software or technology sector is preferred.
• Previous experience supporting Commercial, SMB, or high-volume sales organizations is preferred.
• Familiarity with data platforms, SIEM, observability, security operations, or related technologies is preferred.
• Experience with Splunk is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with pipeline generation, customer lifecycle management, and renewals is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in creating scalable, repeatable programs and operating models is preferred.
• Experience collaborating across Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Support, Renewals, and other functions is preferred.
• Strong skills in executive communication, presentation, and storytelling are preferred.
• Experience leading organizational change and driving the adoption of new strategies, processes, and technologies is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Splunk and Cisco ecosystem is preferred.
• Technical knowledge covering networking, servers, applications, virtualization, big data, and web technologies is preferred.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

• The role can be performed remotely within Colorado, Washington, Utah, Arizona, and California (excluding the Bay Area).
