Lead Senior Business System Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead the establishment of solutions for new client implementations or significant updates to existing projects.

• Collect and articulate project requirements.

• Comprehend client workflows and their business objectives.

• Elicit and understand use cases.

• Familiarize yourself with the current technical and data infrastructure.

• Perform gap analysis between applications and client requirements.

• Set clear expectations.

• Work in collaboration with architects and developers.

• Estimate project impact, necessary resources, and time commitments.

• Document proposed solutions.

• Assist client teams through presentations and reviews.

• Create requirements documents and functional specifications.

• Update documentation throughout the course of the project lifecycle.

• Create and manage tickets for internal communication.

• Act as the internal subject matter expert on the solution.

• Partner with development, QA, and production support teams.

• Identify and mitigate project risks.

• Support QA and UAT processes.

• Become an expert on the product.

• Manage multiple competing priorities effectively.

• Recommend and implement best practices, methodologies, and tools.

• Advise the client success team regarding technical capabilities, staffing, and infrastructure requirements.

• Travel to West Coast clients as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Management experience in similar roles.

• Background in contributing to project documentation, including business requirements, specifications, SOWs, and LOEs.

• Ability to understand and advocate for the end user's needs within a software development context.

• Strong consultative and advisory abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Capability to recognize marketing and strategic needs to evaluate and suggest technical requirements.

• Skill in conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Thought leader and subject matter expert supporting organizational processes and overseeing the implementation of a new product or significant modifications from inception to completion.

• Experience with web services and RESTful APIs is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in software implementation from requirements gathering through design, development, and user acceptance.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technology-related field.

• More than 4 years of experience using Snowflake.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Must reside in either PST or MST time zones.
