Lead Security Risk Assessment Analyst

📋 Description

• Conduct and develop risk assessments related to information security for external entities.

• Assess the information security controls of external parties to ensure compliance with Lincoln requirements.

• Establish information security risk profiles utilizing questionnaires, policies, and industry standards.

• Propose and communicate risk mitigation strategies to both external parties and internal stakeholders.

• Escalate and address risks, exceptions, and concerns as necessary.

• Aid in the creation and enforcement of information security standards, policies, and procedures.

• Investigate information security issues, trends, and relevant legislation.

• Effectively communicate complex security and risk concepts to diverse audiences.

• Address external inquiries regarding Lincoln’s information security practices.

• Update management, project managers, and stakeholders on engagement status.

• Develop and evaluate metrics, trends, and KPIs to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

• Document assessments and communications within Lincoln’s IT governance, risk, and compliance platform.

• Assess the security risks associated with third-party AI solutions and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.

• Leverage knowledge of AI and generative AI to evaluate third-party risks and facilitate responsible adoption.

• Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and security risks related to AI.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT Audit, Information Security, Information Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience; OR a minimum of 4 years of work experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT Security, IT Audit, or Information Risk Management directly related to the role.

• More than 2 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence relevant to the role.

• CompTIA Security+ certification or a higher level is preferred.
