
Lead, Residential Solar Service Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee the residential solar service operations team, managing portfolio performance, operations, and maintenance.
• Cultivate relationships with strategic partners and contractors.
• Address maintenance and system issues remotely to ensure swift resolution.
• Supervise service invoices and costs, evaluate contractor expenses, and authorize payments.
• Confirm system functionality and guarantee precise service documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and service providers to address maintenance challenges.
• Evaluate contractor performance, compliance, and adherence to service level agreements.
• Direct daily team management, including training, mentoring, and development initiatives.
• Develop and update user guides, job aids, and training materials.
• Serve as an expert on the Asset Management 360 platform and assist new service partners during onboarding.
• Provide training on CRM, service expectations, IGS standards, solar installations, and maintenance practices.
• Work with IT to troubleshoot platform-related issues.
• Generate reports and dashboards that track resolution rates, time to resolution, costs, and operational efficiency.
• Examine maintenance patterns and service case resolutions to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with leadership to create workflows that enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Review records associated with site visits, maintenance requests, and service activities.
• Participate in special projects and identify strategies to mitigate risk exposure.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.
• No current or future sponsorship will be provided.
• 2-4+ years of experience in the Solar or Energy sector.
• 3+ years of experience utilizing Excel for analysis and conveying complex data.
• Advanced understanding of the operation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems.
• Knowledge of various Residential Solar system architectures.
• Experience with Solar Shading tools such as Aurora/Solmetric Suneye is preferred.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Applications: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint.
• Experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage numerous service contractor partnerships, multiple projects, and competing priorities.
• Capability to navigate complex resolutions and quickly learn new technologies and platforms.
• NABCEP professional certification is a plus.
• Relevant manufacturer installation certifications are advantageous.
• A degree in Business Administration, IT, Operations, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
