Lead Qt/QML Developer, Desktop Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop or embedded applications utilizing Qt/QML and modern C++.

• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define and implement new features.

• Lead architectural and technical decision-making processes.

• Ensure high code quality through practices such as code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.

• Support and mentor other developers.

• Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of a large, well-established codebase.

• Work autonomously and take ownership of the solutions delivered.

• Participate in Agile development methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of commercial experience in software development.

• Strong commercial proficiency in C++, including modern C++.

• Experience in developing desktop applications using Qt and QML.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns.

• Experience with large codebases and long-term software projects, along with smaller, more agile initiatives.

• Familiarity with version control systems, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.

• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate in an international setting.

• Proficiency in English at the C1 level, both written and spoken.

• Experience with Windows and/or macOS development environments.

• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.

• Experience in supporting technical decisions and leading development teams.

• Experience with Proof of Concept initiatives.

• Proficiency in Python programming.

• Knowledge of Docker.

• Experience using AI tools in everyday workflow.
