Lead QA Engineer – AI Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design and develop a comprehensive testing pipeline for a product predominantly crafted by AI agents, encompassing pre-merge validations, nightly testing executions, and release and production checkpoints.

• Establish the quality framework for AI-generated code, incorporating risk evaluation, coverage standards, and sustainable scalability.

• Implement continuous automated UI testing across various browsers and mobile platforms, utilizing AI-agent-driven testing.

• Assess, select, and integrate third-party tools and services.

• Take ownership of product reliability from a technical viewpoint, particularly focusing on critical financial processes.

• Collaborate closely with engineers and DevOps to instill quality throughout the development cycle while balancing speed and safety.

• Employ AI agents on a daily basis to create, sustain, and evolve tests and testing tools.

• Proactively lead quality initiatives and disseminate best practices within the team.

• Join a compact senior team as an individual contributor without any personnel management responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in developing and overseeing testing processes in large, intricate products with stringent reliability standards, in roles such as QA Architect, senior QA/SDET, or a senior engineer accountable for testing strategies.

• Robust engineering background: comprehension of system architecture, backend services, CI/CD, and deployment methodologies.

• Practical experience with test automation and integrating tests into CI/CD workflows.

• Regular use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar) as an integral aspect of your role.

• Genuine enthusiasm for AI-driven development.

• High degree of autonomy and ownership: capability to tackle loosely defined challenges, propose solutions, and drive them to fruition without detailed specifications.

• Willingness to engage as a hands-on individual contributor within a small senior team.

• Proficiency in Russian.
