Lead QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and implementation of a comprehensive QA automation framework for SAP CRM and SAP TC.

• Create automation solutions from the ground up while enhancing and refining existing systems.

• Collaborate closely with Telia’s business and IT leaders to advocate for QA automation best practices.

• Partner with current QA and AQA teams, offering technical guidance, mentorship, and sharing of knowledge.

• Educate team members on contemporary QA concepts, methodologies, and automation techniques.

• Introduce and utilize AI technologies to enhance QA processes, automation, and overall testing efficiency.

• Conduct manual testing as necessary to ensure thorough test coverage and maintain product quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Lead QA Automation Engineer.

• Strong proficiency with Playwright — essential.

• Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks, coupled with a strong grasp of QA automation best practices.

• Mandatory experience in SAP QA Automation.

• An AI-native approach to software engineering and the software development life cycle, with a keen interest in applying AI to innovative QA practices.

• Capability to work independently, take charge, and make a meaningful impact within a team.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Excellent proficiency in English; knowledge of Lithuanian is an advantage.

• Prior experience in manual testing is a plus.
