This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the primary project representative for the client on a daily basis and serve as the main coordination point.
β’ Create, manage, and implement the comprehensive project management plan, including the schedule, milestones, resource allocation, governance framework, and reporting frequency.
β’ Direct project governance, steering committees, working teams, decision-making, escalation, and change control procedures.
β’ Keep track of project risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, decisions, actions, and change requests.
β’ Compile executive-level status reports that summarize project health, schedule deviations, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and corrective measures.
β’ Manage business process evaluations, requirements verification, system setup, data migration, testing, training, cutover, go-live, and stabilization activities.
β’ Supervise vendor performance, plans, deliverables, timelines, risks, and quality as per requirements and contractual obligations.
β’ Facilitate decision-making and develop recommendations for deliverables, changes, and crucial project decisions.
β’ Lead the planning of integrated readiness and cutover, providing recommendations for go-live.
β’ Oversee post-go-live stabilization, issue resolution, system performance, user adoption, support transition, and ongoing improvements.
β’ Generate and conduct quality reviews of client-facing deliverables, meeting materials, status reports, decision documents, and escalation communications.
β’ Collaborate with project management, data, technical, business process, testing, organizational change management, training, and housing finance teams.
β’ Assist in business development, proposal creation, client presentations, opportunity management, team capability enhancement, vendor relationships, conferences, blog writing, and meetings with prospective clients.
β’ Minimum of five years of experience in leading complex enterprise software implementations, modernization, or systems integration projects.
β’ Proven experience working with or within Housing Finance Agencies.
β’ Experience in a client-side, owner-side, project management office, program management, or independent oversight capacity.
β’ Strong understanding of project governance, integrated planning, schedule management, change control, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, decision management, and executive reporting.
β’ Experience in coordinating business process reviews, requirements validation, data migration, system integration, testing, user acceptance testing, training, deployment readiness, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
β’ Ability to evaluate vendor performance, spot delivery discrepancies, and communicate practical corrective actions.
β’ Skills in leading meetings, facilitating decisions, managing competing priorities, and ensuring progress across multiple workstreams.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create client-facing status reports, governance materials, decision documents, and executive communications.
β’ Demonstrated critical thinking, organizational, problem-solving, self-management, and relationship-building abilities.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and project planning, collaboration, reporting, and presentation tools.
β’ PMI Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is preferred.
β’ Experience with housing finance agencies, housing departments, public housing authorities, mortgage or loan servicing organizations, or similar public-sector financial programs is preferred.
β’ Experience in implementing enterprise systems for accounting, lending, loan servicing, single-family programs, multifamily programs, affordable housing, grants, compliance, or financial reporting is preferred.
β’ Experience overseeing data migration, data governance, system integration, reconciliation, testing, and regulatory or internal control requirements is preferred.
β’ Experience in developing or reviewing project artifacts for regulated environments, including financial controls, data security, auditability, and compliance documentation is preferred.
