Lead Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create the interface that defines Piper's personality, objectives, and methods for handling objections.

• Enhance Piper's real-time presence, including chat and video interactions where the AI acts as a representative.

• Concentrate on design principles for autonomous agents within the realm of enterprise sales.

• Develop prototypes using code or AI tools, moving beyond traditional Figma usage.

• Implement design decisions actively rather than merely documenting them.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in product design, including a minimum of 2 years focused on AI or conversational interfaces.

• Comprehensive understanding of LLM behavior (latency, streaming, confidence, failure modes) and the ability to design with transparency in mind.

• Proficient in AI tools as an integral part of your workflow, rather than as a side project.

• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills. You possess an eye for aesthetics and are comfortable working without exhaustive briefs. You are capable of defining both the problem and the solution.

• Collaborate directly with engineering and machine learning teams. We maintain a culture that avoids handoffs.
