Lead Product Designer – 6 Month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the experience design for intricate features, user journeys, and product initiatives across applications, websites, kiosks, loyalty programs, and other related digital interfaces.

• Convert customer needs, business goals, research insights, and technical limitations into clear experience strategies and executable designs.

• Manage the entire process from problem identification through user flows, interaction design, prototyping, validation, detailed design, and implementation.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define requirements, priorities, trade-offs, and make delivery decisions.

• Leverage research, analytics, usability testing, and customer feedback to uncover opportunities and validate proposed solutions.

• Implement and refine design-system patterns to ensure accessible, consistent, and high-quality user experiences.

• Facilitate design critiques and cross-functional workshops; articulate design rationale and recommendations effectively.

• Conduct design quality assurance and collaborate with Engineering throughout the implementation process to maintain experience integrity.

• Guide and offer design direction to fellow designers without holding formal management roles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading product design for complex digital products or interconnected customer journeys.

• A robust portfolio showcasing product thinking, interaction design, systems thinking, visual execution, and measurable results.

• Proficient in Figma, prototyping, interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, and design systems.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity independently while aligning cross-functional stakeholders.

• Strong comprehension of customer research and data-driven product design methodologies.

• Excellent skills in facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management.

• Experience in sectors such as restaurants, retail, commerce, loyalty, marketplace, or similarly complex consumer experiences (highly preferred, not mandatory).
