Lead Java Architect, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and develop high-impact technological solutions and distributed architectures based on microservices.

• Define functional requirements, acceptance criteria, integration architecture, components, data flows, and data models.

• Participate in the evolution of the company's core technology framework and ecosystem.

• Serve as a technical liaison with the business and key stakeholders.

• Promote best practices in development, quality, and architecture.

• Drive the adoption of AI tools within development teams.

• Train and support teams in the advanced use of GitHub Copilot and other AI assistants.

• Contribute to the development of internal copilots and accelerators.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment.

• Guide the adoption of best practices and promote AI tools applied to the software lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Java 8+ development and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, etc.).

• Proven experience in distributed architectures based on microservices.

• Solid knowledge of Apache Kafka and asynchronous communication.

• Experience working with eventual consistency and decoupled architectures.

• Knowledge of Data-Centric architectures and real-time data processing and streaming platforms.

• Experience in Cloud Native solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP, in hybrid and scalable environments.

• Ability to define complex integration architectures, components, and data flows.

• Experience in Agile environments and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

• Proven track record of liaising with business and transforming functional needs into technical solutions.

• Knowledge and practical experience with AI development tools, especially GitHub Copilot.

• Experience with Claude Code is highly valued.

• Experience leading technological transformation initiatives is desirable.

• Participation in the adoption and evangelization of AI tools is a plus.

• Experience in e-commerce platforms or large-scale digital ecosystems is considered advantageous.

• Knowledge of evolutionary architectures and high-criticality systems is a plus.
