Lead Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Lead the data engineering team and take ownership of the pipelines that support Adelaide's AU metric.

• Design, ensure the reliability of, and enhance Adelaide's data pipelines and data infrastructure.

• Oversee one Data Engineer.

• Organize and manage data flow from both internal and external sources into the SaaS analytics dashboard and its connected platforms.

• Ensure high uptime for the SaaS analytics dashboard and associated platforms.

• Design, construct, deploy, and maintain dependable data pipelines in collaboration with data engineers and data scientists.

• Maintain and refine existing data pipelines and integrations.

• Optimize data stores for rapid and efficient querying to meet technology and reporting requirements.

• Safeguard the quality, reliability, and security of the data infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

• Proficient in Python, Redshift, Postgres, SQL, Spark, Scala, and Airflow.

• Experience with the Pandas library and Docker.

• Familiarity with AWS technologies such as ECS, S3, Kinesis, Redshift, and EMR.

• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Experience with machine learning.

• Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality, reliable data solutions.

• Experience in ad tech, measurement, or verification (optional).

• Experience with high-throughput or near-real-time data pipelines (optional).

• Familiarity with Snowflake or Looker (optional).
