Lead Customer Insights and Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive business solutions to the operations team utilizing Power BI experiences.

• Create analytical dashboards, reports, and queries to assist in strategic business decisions, ad-hoc analyses, and both descriptive and prescriptive solutions.

• Evaluate fundamental business challenges and identify underlying causes to implement solutions.

• Develop dashboards by grasping business requirements, interpreting integrated data, and converting data into practical visualizations.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize ad-hoc requests and innovative solutions.

• Coach, mentor, and gain insights from product experts while showcasing thought leadership and facilitating consensus, buy-in, and adoption.

• Improve data maturity and integration while standardizing essential value-added functionalities.

• Lead innovation in analytical products and curate new data sources.

• Advance analytics beyond mere reporting and dashboard creation to deliver actionable insights.

• Act as a key user of Ryder's Azure Data Lake and spearhead analytics initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and technology teams employing agile methodologies.

• Experiment with streaming live data into a data lake and data sandbox.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field, Required.

• Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, MBA, or equivalent, Preferred.

• Minimum of 6 years of applied project experience demonstrating digital transformation and data management, Required.

• At least 6 years of experience creating dashboards for diagnostic analysis across the business and working in a cloud environment, Required.

• A minimum of 4 years in an individual contributor role as a key team member, Required.

• Experience in developing BI solutions with Power BI.

• Proficiency in Tableau, Required.

• Familiarity with ETL tools like Alteryx or SSIS.

• Exposure to SQL data manipulation tools.

• Knowledge of object-oriented development stacks (.NET), Preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in business terms, Required.

• Experience in supporting product innovation throughout the build, test, and release phases using agile methodologies, Required.

• Understanding of Ryder's business and supply chain domain.

• Willingness to travel.
