Lead Consultant – Oracle Cloud Financials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage with clients by leveraging extensive knowledge of Oracle Financials Applications and industry best practices.

• Partner with project teams and client personnel to design, test, and deploy Oracle Cloud solutions.

• Refine, record, and present client requirements for validation and approval.

• Address challenges related to product implementation and integration.

• Evaluate existing systems and data to pinpoint requirements and necessary enhancements.

• Create unit test scripts and manage User Acceptance Testing coordination.

• Collaborate with Oracle to resolve service requests effectively.

• Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements.

• Analyze, design, configure, and develop solutions for Oracle Financial applications.

• Lead Conference Room Pilots and oversee User Acceptance Testing.

• Assist in preparations for go-live and transition activities.

• Offer support following production launch.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant.

• Over 3 years of experience in implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud projects and upgrades.

• CPA certification or an equivalent qualification is advantageous.

• Strong consulting background with business analytical skills for requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, business process design, CRPs, functional configuration, and testing of procurement ERP solutions.

• Proven track record in guiding clients through improvements in business processes.

• Accounting experience that includes chart of accounts redesign, financial reporting, MultiOrg, and multi-currency management.

• Capability to lead a team, work autonomously, and juggle multiple tasks effectively.

• Previous experience in project leadership or management.

• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication abilities.

• Proficient in writing functional specifications based on user needs.

• Skilled at independently managing client expectations.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• A Bachelor's Degree is required or equivalent professional experience.

• Ability to coach and mentor team members.

• Maintain a professional demeanor with both internal and external clients.

• Capacity to uphold a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
