Lead Clinical Instructor – Therapy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement clinical training programs for Equip’s provider teams.

• Oversee the Clinical Supervisors team, including setting performance expectations, providing ongoing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and developing performance improvement plans.

• Facilitate meetings for Clinical Instructors and Clinical Supervisors, along with peer consultation sessions.

• Design, conduct, and assess live internal trainings for multidisciplinary provider teams.

• Partner with Care Delivery leaders and providers to pinpoint training requirements.

• Act as a subject matter expert alongside Instructional Designers for clinical e-learning materials.

• Evaluate and audit e-learning courses, fidelity rubrics, as well as departmental and cross-functional resources.

• Create, revise, and enhance training materials and resources.

• Deliver evidence-based supervision and carry out fidelity reviews as part of Equip’s certification program.

• Analyze session recordings and offer real-time feedback to providers.

• Arrange and manage training sessions, monitor provider performance metrics, and assess providers.

• Execute other responsibilities as directed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral degree in clinical mental health or a related discipline.

• Licensed in a clinical mental health field (PhD, PsyD, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, etc.) in at least one state; eligible for licensure in additional states.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing clinical supervision within evidence-based treatments.

• Proven capability to function as a leader and mentor for Clinical Supervisors.

• Experience in people management, including conducting evaluations, performance reviews, and guiding professional development discussions.

• Documented completion of training in one of Equip’s three primary treatment modalities (CBT-E, FBT, CBT-AR); expertise in CBT-E is preferred.

• Demonstrated background in live training and course development.

• At least 2 years of experience in delivering the treatment modality of expertise.

• Experience utilizing evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, and/or binge eating disorder.

• Extensive experience in leading live trainings, either in-person or via online platforms.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Strong public speaking skills.

• Proven proficiency with PowerPoint or Google Slides.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment characterized by rapid changes and innovations.
