Lead Business Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee a Business Intelligence team comprising two members.

• Facilitate goal-setting conversations and offer ongoing feedback.

• Cultivate and promote a data-driven culture within the organization.

• Implement best practices for BI within the team.

• Consistently enhance the professional and methodological capabilities of team members.

• Collaborate closely with management and various business units to align and prioritize the BI roadmap.

• Strategically design, develop, and refine the BI reporting framework.

• Analyze data to generate well-founded insights for management and business units.

• Establish and continuously update central Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Actively assist in the formation and ongoing enhancement of data governance structures.

• Engage hands-on in projects and analytical tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.

• Initial experience in a leadership role is preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in creating, building, and advancing a BI function.

• Proficiency in conceptual data modeling.

• Experience in designing ETL processes.

• Comprehensive understanding of current trends, technologies, and developments in the BI sector.

• Strong practical orientation.

• Willingness to contribute actively to projects and analyses.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Strong leadership skills.

• High levels of accountability and decisiveness.
