Lead Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Oversee product discovery and conduct business analysis for intricate digital products, workflows, and transformation projects.

• Organize and lead interviews, workshops, and collaborative discovery sessions.

• Gather, analyze, and critically assess requirements, assumptions, constraints, risks, and interdependencies.

• Convert business goals into epics, features, user stories, process models, business rules, and verifiable acceptance criteria.

• Provide briefs to squads and prepare tasks for sprint planning.

• Assist in the refinement, estimation, and prioritization processes.

• Work in conjunction with Squad Leads and Quality Assurance to establish acceptance criteria and validation methods.

• Take ownership of testing readiness and coordinate test scenarios, execution, results evaluation, and defect resolution.

• Confirm delivered outcomes with stakeholders and integrate findings, defects, and operational challenges into the product backlog.

• Diagram current and future-state processes, pinpointing opportunities for simplification, automation, responsible AI utilization, and data-driven decision-making.

• Create reusable templates, uphold quality standards, and develop best practices for business analysis and product discovery.

• Mentor and support other analysts.

• Collaborate with developers, Quality Assurance, program management, and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years in business analysis, product discovery, or digital product delivery.

• Proven experience in leading analysis efforts for complex software products, platforms, or transformation initiatives.

• Exceptional facilitation, requirements elicitation, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Proficient in drafting user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, workflows, and relevant documentation.

• Experience in modeling IT systems, system interactions, and behaviors.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for creating requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, complemented by human oversight and governance.

• Practical experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies along with project management disciplines and governance frameworks.

• Strong analytical skills and the confidence to challenge assumptions.

• Ability to align strategic objectives with quantifiable product outcomes and delivery-ready tasks.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Experience collaborating with colleagues distributed across various international locations.

• Preferred: experience in a leadership, mentoring, or practice owner role for Business Analysts.

• Preferred: background in B2B SaaS, sustainability, manufacturing, supply chains, chemical data, assessment, or compliance products.

• Preferred: expertise in process modeling, service design, data analysis, and product management methodologies.

• Preferred: knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, OKRs, and contemporary product operating models.

• Preferred: experience in identifying automation and AI-assisted opportunities while ensuring adherence to governance and risk management controls.
