Landscaping Estimator – Bilingual, Spanish, English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the commercial estimating process by generating precise quantity takeoffs.

• Conduct back-end pricing by sourcing materials and equipment necessary for bids.

• Acquire up-to-date pricing and product availability from various suppliers.

• Analyze project plans to determine required materials and quantities.

• Help in the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive material and cost database.

• Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure bids are both accurate and thorough.

• Keep organized records of estimating and aid in the enhancement of estimating procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Construction, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Prior experience in construction or landscaping estimating, quantity takeoffs, or a comparable estimating position.

• Proficient in quantity takeoff software, with a strong preference for experience with Togal.

• Solid understanding of construction or landscaping plans, materials, estimating principles, and pricing methodologies.

• Experience in sourcing material pricing and liaising with suppliers and vendors.

• Exceptional attention to detail along with strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Highly organized and capable of prioritizing multiple estimates while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while effectively collaborating with the estimating team.
