This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.
• Work closely with team members in EQT’s Land Department, including Division Order, Land Administration, Title, Owner Relations, Business Development, and Land Acquisitions, to assist Land Data Scientists in developing advanced models and pipelines.
• Collaborate with internal BI/IT teams to comprehend and apply necessary changes to tables and code.
• Coordinate with EQT’s STAQ (Delivery) team to prioritize and implement changes within Salesforce, Databricks, and AI pipeline environments.
• Investigate both new and existing processes and data tables for anomalies and patterns that can be enhanced.
• Assist in analytics initiatives that require sophisticated scripting and analytical techniques.
• Maintain and support analytical solutions utilizing SQL.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
• Provide advanced analytical support to the Land Department beyond typical BI reporting.
• Employ advanced statistical and analytical methods to address complex business challenges.
• Convey insights, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create daily and weekly reports, charts, and visualizations for stakeholders and management.
• Collaborate with Salesforce and EQT’s internal Salesforce team on ongoing data loads and process initiatives.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of coding experience.
• Advanced SQL skills for the implementation and optimization of analytical logic.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering solutions within a BI environment.
• Experience in defining, enforcing, and evaluating shared coding standards.
• Ability to refactor and enhance codebases created by multiple contributors.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities across functions.
• Experience in mentoring peers and influencing technical direction without direct authority.
• Remote work is not available in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless open to relocation.
