Laboratory Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for the daily operations and organization of the demonstration laboratory.

• Ensure that all laboratory activities are executed safely and comply with relevant Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH and risk assessments.

• Maintain and enhance laboratory safety protocols, SOPs, and related documentation.

• Oversee the inventory of demonstration instruments, guaranteeing that equipment is available, functional, and maintained to required standards.

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and relocation of demonstration equipment.

• Manage laboratory consumables, chemical inventory, samples, gases, accessories, and other vital supplies.

• Provide support for customer events, open days, product launches, and other marketing initiatives conducted within the laboratory.

• Participate as a member of the company's fire marshal and first aider team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of laboratory Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH and risk assessments.

• Prior experience working in a laboratory, technical, or scientific environment.

• Experience with analytical or laboratory instrumentation would be beneficial.

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to upholding safety, quality, and presentation standards.

• Practical, hands-on, and proactive problem-solving approach.

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and possessing a can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently.

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Must be located within convenient access to the Luton office.
