This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assign all service orders to field personnel within fifteen minutes of order entry.
• Oversee and manage the proper dispatching, completion, pickup, and processing of cases in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Organize, review, and allocate cases based on geographical coverage knowledge and the availability of on-duty phlebotomists.
• Monitor all dispatched tasks during the shift and perform follow-ups on cases.
• Ensure that work assignments are completed and provide support where necessary.
• Prepare daily work schedules for multiple phlebotomists.
• Maintain ongoing communication throughout shifts, including tracking and rerouting cases as needed.
• Collaborate with Area/Regional Phlebotomy Management, Logging Area, Stat Tracking, Customer Service, Call Center, Redraw Department, and Courier Services.
• Address facility special requests, prioritize urgent laboratory orders, and perform constant follow-ups.
• Document issues in detail with written reports.
• Conduct minor investigations, troubleshooting, and immediate problem resolution when required.
• Inform the Dispatch Manager promptly about challenging issues that require attention.
• Recognize personal improvement areas and adapt to proposed changes.
• Complete other assigned tasks and assist with attendance-related office matters.
• Manage high-volume calls and dispatch assistance requests from facilities, phlebotomists, call center personnel, and field employees.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficient to expert in the use of Microsoft Office software.
• Capable of clear communication, active listening, confirming messages, and relaying essential information.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks in a fast-paced call center setting.
• A private workspace that is free from external noise and distractions is necessary.
• Must comply with safety checklist requirements.
• High-speed internet connection that supports VoIP communications is required.
• Fiber or cable internet is recommended; DSL and satellite connections are not advised.
• Must successfully complete TridentCare's Network Performance Test.
• Access to a PC that can run the network test; Chromebooks are not accepted.
• Availability for either Thursday–Monday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. CST, or Friday–Tuesday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. CST.
• Basic knowledge of dispatch and routing preferred at a novice level.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills are preferred.
