This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accurately translate between Korean and English, and vice versa.
• Review and edit translated content to ensure precision, grammar, formatting, and consistency.
• Handle the translation and editing of official documents, such as vital records, legal papers, official certificates, and academic transcripts.
• Uphold confidentiality throughout the translation process.
• Adhere to client-specific guidelines and formatting preferences.
• Meet deadlines, including rapid turnaround times of one to two days when necessary.
• Undertake assignments as required.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Must be currently residing in the United States.
• Willingness to undergo a Tier 1 background check, including fingerprinting.
• Native or highly proficient in both Korean and English.
• Two to five years of demonstrated experience in translation and/or editing.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong formatting capabilities.
• Ability to deliver client-ready outputs.
• Dependable, deadline-driven, and highly efficient.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Outstanding communication skills and a professional, collaborative demeanor.
• Access to current Windows software.
• Proficient in working with standard document formats.
• Capable of providing per-word rates for translation and editing tasks.
• Open to accepting assignments as needed.
• A bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, language studies, or a related field is preferred.
