This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of decision-making frameworks, pressures, opportunities, decision drivers, and unmet needs within each account.
• Relay payer/provider decision drivers and unmet needs to brand teams for a comprehensive key account situation evaluation.
• Emphasize the cross-functional effects of projected changes in the payer/provider landscape to IFTs and brand teams.
• Establish trusted strategic relationships with payers/providers to foresee access obstacles and address key account agendas, plans, and objectives.
• Recognize opportunities and work collaboratively across functions to build mutually beneficial partnerships with key accounts.
• Positively affect contracting and tendering opportunities for product access.
• Formulate account-specific strategies and succinct engagement plans to maximize usage, funding, and access for AbbVie products.
• Negotiate, finalize, and execute agreements while supporting or leading contracting and tendering processes.
• Aid in the development and presentation of proposals to achieve profit targets.
• Monitor the execution, impact of initiatives, and key account performance to enhance bottom-line results.
• A Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant experience showcasing a proven history of success in sales or consultative selling within the biotech/pharmaceutical sector.
• Capability to convert strategies into practical and actionable key account engagement plans.
• Proficient in leading, motivating, and coordinating cross-functional teams (in-field).
• Strong ability to negotiate, finalize, and execute contracting and tendering agreements with key accounts and complex customer networks.
• Robust analytical, business planning, and financial acumen skills.
• Solid understanding of pharmaco-economic principles.
• Familiarity with payer/provider mindset and motivations in the relevant local context.
• Comprehensive knowledge of payer/provider decision-making processes and key stakeholders/influencers.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
• A demonstrated history of successfully managing specific key accounts strategically and tactically within the relevant local context is preferred.
• Leadership experience within a specific key account, based on involvement in key account decision-making processes in contracting and tendering situations, is preferred.
