Jurisdiction Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Become an expert in compliance across various jurisdictions.

• Monitor regulatory requirements and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance.

• Aid business teams in formulating procedures and processes to meet regulatory needs.

• Oversee and update the Company’s internal regulatory controls.

• Establish and nurture relationships with gaming regulators in different jurisdictions.

• Assist in licensing, registration, and regulatory examination processes.

• Keep track of regulatory changes and inform relevant stakeholders.

• Support obligations for regulatory reporting and compliance documentation.

• Spot opportunities to enhance operational workflows and mitigate compliance risks.

• Handle multiple projects while ensuring clear and consistent communication.

• Assist cross-functional teams during product launches and initiatives for market expansion.

• Provide continuous regulatory support and advice throughout the organization.

• Work in collaboration with Legal, Product, Payments, Operations, and Responsible Gaming teams.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager, State Compliance within the Regulatory Affairs team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Located in Canada.

• 2-4+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory operations, ideally in online gaming or another highly regulated sector.

• Knowledge of international regulatory frameworks, especially Ontario and Alberta gaming regulations, is preferred.

• Capacity to make sound judgments and operate independently.

• Strong analytical and writing abilities.

• Experience in liaising with senior management and government entities.

• Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across functions.

• Quick learner, adept at tackling complex regulatory and operational issues.
