Junior/Middle Email Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Establish and manage all transactional product email communications.

• Develop and enhance automated workflows for trial onboarding, subscription conversions, upselling, retention, and re-engagement.

• Increase the number of trials generated via the email channel.

• Implement and refine the warm-up email flow.

• Localize email messaging from start to finish for various markets.

• Craft email content in English, design layouts, and code emails.

• Conduct A/B testing and evaluate campaign effectiveness.

• Research competitors and generate innovative ideas for the email marketing strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in email marketing within a B2C product organization.

• Familiarity with the subscription product lifecycle: trial, conversion to subscription, retention, and upselling.

• Proficiency with at least one Email Service Provider (ESP) such as Customer.io, Braze, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, SendGrid, or similar platforms.

• Basic HTML email coding abilities or proficiency with email builders like Stripo, BEE, or MJML.

• Knowledge of essential email performance metrics: open rates, click-through rates (CTR), conversions, unsubscribes, and spam complaints.

• Proficient in English at least at an Upper-Intermediate level for composing emails.

• Experience with subscription-based products.

• Background in localizing email campaigns for diverse languages and markets.

• Understanding of deliverability fundamentals: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and domain warming.

• Experience conducting A/B tests and interpreting results.

• Basic data analysis skills using tools like Google Sheets, Amplitude, Looker Studio, or similar.

• Ability to work in Figma for layout editing tasks.
