This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Develop and sustain web application functionalities on both the frontend and backend.
• Produce clean, well-documented code and create user interfaces according to design specifications.
• Engage in REST and GraphQL API integrations as well as database management.
• Troubleshoot and fix technical issues on both the frontend and backend.
• Create unit and integration tests to ensure reliable releases.
• Adhere to security best practices, internal development standards, and Git workflows.
• Take part in code reviews and team stand-ups.
• Keep the team lead informed about task progress and obstacles.
• Leverage AI technologies to improve and streamline business processes.
• Utilize Power Digital's Nova ecosystem relevant to the department.
• Achieve KPIs such as sprint delivery, code reviews, bug prevention, test coverage, and timely follow-up.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient understanding of at least one modern web framework.
• Comfortable writing JavaScript/TypeScript or a similar language relevant to the team's technology stack.
• Basic knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs and relational databases.
• Familiar with Git and standard version control practices.
• High level of proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for documentation, code comments, and interaction with global teams and clients.
• Expected to work during Pacific Time Zone hours.
• Comfortable both giving and receiving feedback in code reviews and seeking assistance when encountering roadblocks.
• Eager to learn, follow directions, and rapidly enhance technical skills.
