Junior ServiceNow Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist in leading the ServiceNow team in the creation and development of both standard and customized solutions.

• Design applications through configuration, report creation, and data migration processes.

• Analyze, design, code, and test application components across multiple modules.

• Carry out custom development and integrate third-party applications.

• Execute unit testing and resolve defects.

• Implement changes in the production environment.

• Aid in technical design and documentation efforts.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to develop solutions that align with business needs.

• Engage with clients, managers, and end-users to evaluate project goals and capability requirements.

• Work alongside clients and leadership to identify challenges, desired outcomes, risks, dependencies, vision, and strategy.

• Support the Product Owner with backlog management, roadmap refinement, planning, and prioritization tasks.

• Assist the Support Team with escalated ServiceNow issues related to customized applications, permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflows.

• Estimate work efforts, design, code, and test solutions while addressing testing challenges.

• Contribute throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle and provide ongoing support.

• Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to adapt to evolving requirements and customer objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience with ServiceNow implementations.

• Practical experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, IT Asset Management (ITAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), CMDB/Configuration Management, and Virtual Agent.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Possess an active Top Secret security clearance.

• Must be located in the DC area.

• Work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future within the United States.
