Junior Retention Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients to establish KPIs, create lifecycle roadmaps, and devise effective retention strategies.

• Work alongside a dedicated designer and a junior email marketer to execute lifecycle marketing initiatives.

• Leverage AI technology to brainstorm and craft compelling emails and SMS communications.

• Oversee the internal copy approval process and provide final approval on all copy deliverables.

• Define and oversee account scopes, allocate hours to high-return initiatives, and monitor project pacing, timesheets, and budgets utilizing ClickUp.

• Mentor and guide junior Strategy Associates.

• Manage client relationships, set expectations, and deliver clear, data-driven performance reports.

• Ensure quality of deliverables, transform significant achievements into case studies, and update internal agency playbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree, or relevant certifications, preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field with an emphasis on digital or eCommerce.

• 2–3 years of experience in eCommerce or lifecycle marketing, with a track record of managing client strategy and performance.

• Strong knowledge of retention and lifecycle channels, including email and SMS segmentation, testing, and optimization.

• Ability to think commercially, prioritize tasks effectively, and convert data into actionable strategies.

• Experience in leading or mentoring team members and working collaboratively with design and technical teams.

• Practical knowledge of Klaviyo or similar platforms.

• Practical knowledge of Shopify or equivalent platforms.

• Practical knowledge of subscription and retention platforms.
