This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Assume full responsibility for the implementation of software solutions tailored for financial accounting and associated processes within public administrations and churches.
β’ Ensure that project goals are achieved concerning quality, timelines, and budget constraints.
β’ Coordinate engagement with stakeholders across all levels.
β’ Organize and lead workshops, training sessions, and acceptance testing processes.
β’ Collaborate closely with clients, internal project teams, and external service providers.
β’ Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates on project progress.
β’ Manage project requirements and perform risk analyses, developing suitable measures.
β’ Join as a Consultant with thorough onboarding in software solutions and project methodologies.
β’ Gradually prepare to take on project management responsibilities.
β’ A university degree in business administration, economics, or public administration, preferably with a focus on financial accounting.
β’ Some experience in managing IT or software projects.
β’ Experience in municipal administration is advantageous.
β’ Familiarity with financial accounting and municipal budgeting processes is beneficial.
β’ Understanding of both traditional and agile project management methodologies.
β’ Certifications such as PRINCE2 or Scrum Master are a plus.
β’ Strong communication and facilitation skills.
β’ A structured and solution-oriented work approach.
β’ Ability to empathize while engaging with diverse stakeholders.
β’ Willingness to travel across North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, and Saarland.
β’ Proficient in business-fluent German.
