Junior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Familiarize yourself with and embody the culture and core values of Packetlabs.

• Acquire a thorough comprehension of Packetlabs’ products, industry landscape, competitors, and market positioning.

• Work collaboratively with the marketing, delivery, and operations teams.

• Ensure that project tasks and deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and adhere to quality standards.

• Conduct risk management to mitigate project risks.

• Develop comprehensive work plans and arrange activities for effective engagement delivery.

• Create project timelines and distribute resources across various concurrent projects.

• Coordinate deliverables to ensure smooth execution of projects.

• Prepare materials for meetings, including minutes, presentations, and project plans.

• Manage adjustments to engagement scope, timelines, and costs using suitable technologies.

• Support PMO administrative functions such as scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, updating project tracking tools, and enhancing team communication.

• Perform additional duties as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in project management and timeline management within a dynamic IT setting.

• Experience in penetration testing is considered an advantage.

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant certification in a pertinent field, or equivalent experience.

• Scrum/PMP certification is a plus.

• Exceptional client-facing and internal communication abilities.

• Strong technical IT skills, with the capability to understand and grasp complex concepts.

• Self-driven, proactive, and demonstrated success in remote and independent work.

• Ability to be self-reliant, prioritize tasks, and achieve substantial results with minimal wasted effort.

• Exhibits enthusiasm and a sense of urgency when executing daily responsibilities.

• Capable of adjusting communication styles to connect with various personality types.

• Skilled at building influential relationships within an organization and experienced in managing multiple stakeholders.

• Committed to assisting companies and organizations in safeguarding against cyber threats.

• Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work autonomously.

• Internally motivated to excel and create a positive impact.
