Junior Observability Consultant – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Assess IT ecosystems, including applications, platforms, cloud settings, and processes.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of business goals and convert them into observability and architectural frameworks.

• Link technical subjects with clients' business aims.

• Offer advisory assistance in the early phases, prior to selecting a tool.

• Facilitate client workshops focused on architecture and design.

• Identify use cases for performance, resilience, security, and business KPIs.

• Evaluate contemporary observability platforms.

• Progress from analysis to solution architecture in collaboration with experienced colleagues.

• Evolve into a key contact and trusted advisor for clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in fields such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.

• Some experience in observability projects.

• Ideally, 2–3 years of professional experience in a consulting-related setting.

• Preferred practical experience in observability, monitoring, and performance management.

• Familiarity with popular tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, or equivalent platforms.

• Experience utilizing AI-driven tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or Gemini for research, analysis, automation, and knowledge management.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts understandably.

• A client-centered approach and a readiness to actively contribute to solution development.

• Certifications in Dynatrace or Grafana are advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry is beneficial, though not essential.

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is advantageous, but not essential.

• Expertise in cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is beneficial, but not essential.

• Scripting capabilities for automating repetitive tasks are advantageous, but not essential.
