Junior JavaScript Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Set up and manage website integrations, including event tracking, SPA adjustments, cart tracking, and catalog links.

• Implement and maintain integrations with Email Service Providers and synchronization workflows.

• Carry out migration and replatforming tasks with thorough validation and testing.

• Create custom JavaScript solutions for campaigns and interactive user experiences.

• Build and maintain Airflow Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) for recurring data processing tasks.

• Configure dynamic email content and SKU-specific recommendation tracking.

• Analyze customer requests and evaluate the technical viability of solutions.

• Develop integrations with external marketing and email platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while conducting root cause analyses.

• Work in collaboration with account managers, QA engineers, and implementation specialists.

• Engage in technical consultations and participate in onboarding alignment meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience with Vanilla JavaScript (ECMAScript 5+).

• Proficient knowledge of HTML and CSS.

• Practical experience with REST API integrations.

• Hands-on experience with jQuery.

• Familiarity with Chrome DevTools and browser debugging techniques.

• Understanding of behavioral event tracking implementation.

• Knowledge of workflows related to Email Service Provider integration.

• Capability to develop custom JavaScript logic for on-site experiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining code quality.

• Experience in cross-functional team environments.

• Intermediate level of English proficiency or higher.

• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies specific to the domain.

• Experience with PHP is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Apache Airflow is a plus.

• Experience using Postman is a plus.

• Understanding of Git workflows is desirable.

• Experience with AdTech or marketing technology platforms is beneficial.

• Exposure to customer-facing onboarding or integration projects is a plus.
