Junior Graphic Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create marketing and commercial materials, encompassing digital campaigns, emails, social media visuals, sales collateral, event materials, booth designs, presentations, web assets, and video content.

• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and cross-functional teams to grasp project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

• Ensure consistent application of Apyx branding across logos, colors, fonts, and imagery.

• Manage projects from initial concept to final execution, including design, revisions, and production-ready assets.

• Adhere to graphic design best practices and standards.

• Submit final projects for approval and coordinate documentation with the Documentation department.

• Oversee printed materials throughout the printing process, handling vendor estimates, purchase order documentation, proof approvals, and delivery logistics.

• Work in conjunction with external vendors, freelancers, and agencies.

• Handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment and adjust priorities as necessary.

• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for photo editing, vector graphics, print materials, HTML content, video creation/editing, PDFs, and interactive forms.

• Manage company websites using WordPress, including design modifications, content updates, electronic forms, and user access.

• Organize and maintain the archive of design files.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, or a related field, or equivalent design experience.

• 1-3 years of experience in a graphic design role within marketing and/or agency settings.

• A portfolio showcasing strong skills in both print and digital design.

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is essential.

• Familiarity with Dreamweaver and HTML is preferred.

• Experience in managing external vendors and printers, including over 3 years of press check experience with a solid understanding of the printing process.

• Skilled in preparing photography artwork files/mechanicals for design and print production, including photo retouching, color correction, clipping path creation, scaling, cropping, repositioning, and pre-flighting.

• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, After Effects, and Premiere.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Experience with Google Analytics for reporting and tracking website activity.

• Familiarity with email marketing platforms.

• Experience managing contact databases using platforms such as Hubspot.

• Knowledge of managing website domain names through DNS services like GoDaddy.

• Working knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team.

• Fluency in Spanish is an asset.

• Experience with HTML, CSS, and WordPress is a plus but not mandatory.

• App development experience for iOS or Android is a bonus.

• Ability to address common inquiries from members of the business community.

• Capability to present information effectively to personnel at all levels.

• Proficient in problem-solving, data collection, fact establishment, and valid conclusion drawing.

• Must adhere to relevant quality system requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Control Documents, equipment calibration, inspection/testing, and purchasing documentation standards.

• Ability to use hands for tasks such as typing, handling, or feeling; communicate verbally; stand, walk, sit, and reach; occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift/move up to 50 pounds on occasion.
