Junior Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist in budget planning and forecasting by collaborating closely with relevant departments.

• Oversee personnel costs and headcount planning, along with simulations of various scenarios.

• Track financial figures, analyze variances, and identify significant developments.

• Compile analysis results and collaborate with the team to formulate specific action recommendations.

• Enhance reports, dashboards, and key performance indicator (KPI) systems.

• Supply Finance, People & Culture, and other departments with pertinent information for decision-making.

• Aggregate data from diverse sources and confirm its accuracy.

• Assist in creating a reliable and consistent data foundation.

• Advance analyses and processes while automating repetitive tasks.

• Further develop controlling and business intelligence (BI) tools.

• Provide support for business-related inquiries and assist with monthly and annual financial closing activities.

• Collaborate closely with Finance, People & Culture, Payroll, and other relevant departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree, such as in business administration, economics, or business informatics, or equivalent vocational training or qualifications.

• Initial practical experience in controlling, reporting, or data analysis through internships, student positions, or an early professional role.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Basic familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or similar tools is advantageous but not mandatory.

• An analytical, structured, and meticulous approach to work.

• Capability to present complex results in a clear and understandable manner.

• A keen interest in personnel cost controlling and HR controlling.

• A curiosity and willingness to collaboratively enhance data quality, reports, and processes.
