Junior Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Under supervision, review and evaluate contracts, legal documents, and judicial agreements, ensuring relevant clauses and terms to enhance clients’ positions and mitigate risks in default-related matters;

• Assist in preparing and drafting initial pleadings, defenses, appeals, and other procedural filings under the guidance of mid-level or senior attorneys, adhering to procedural deadlines and formal requirements;

• Conduct initial consultations with clients, collecting pertinent information for case management and advising them on legal processes;

• Manage low-complexity legal issues;

• Aid in monitoring judicial and administrative proceedings;

• Perform legislative research and analyze case law;

• Assist in the preparation of reports and legal opinions;

• Ensure adherence to deadlines and maintain technical accuracy in proceedings;

• Contribute to the organization and efficiency of the law firm as well as the quality of legal outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);

• Minimum of 6 months of experience through an internship or practical work at a law firm or within a legal department;

• Understanding of civil law and civil procedure;

• Proficiency in legal research;

• Skills in legal writing and drafting procedural documents;

• Competence in deadline and case management;

• Effective negotiation skills;

• Commitment to professional ethics.
